The award is for BDA members where dietetic services or practice can demonstrate innovation and new ways of working within dietetic services. In this instance it was awared for a quality improvement project improving growth in infants with congenital heart disease before surgery; the development and implementation of a consensus based pre-surgical nutritional pathway into a paediatric cardiology service.
