Abstract
Engaging Imagination draws on a range of pedagogic theories and practices to offer and explore creative and alternative approaches to critical self-evaluation. The book makes the case for rethinking traditional positions on what constitutes academic and intellectual engagement in subject learning. It argues that post compulsory educators need to rethink and revalue visual and multi sensory, spatial and emotional approaches to learning in colleges and universities.
