    Abstract

This chapter reflects on the distinctiveness and variation of performance disciplines, and the ways the peculiarities of these can manifest diversely depending on context. This may be their situation within a conservatoire, dedicated acting school, university programme, department or other and through a three way conversation the authors explore the nuances of these.
