Abstract

An immersive surround sound installation exploring the sonic menace of drone UAV soundscapes was exhibited at "Art in the Age of... Asymmetric Warfare" at the Witte de With Centre for Contemporary Art in Rotterdam.

The installation digitally reconstructs the sonic experience of living under drone surveilance. It is based on testimonies of experiences by civilians living in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan.
