Short literature review regarding the ways in which organisations can work more effectively with parents of people with learning disabilities.
Key findings
Four key findings were identified. 1. Parents felt the care system was considered to be unfit for purpose. 2. Parents felt stressed. 3. Parents felt relationships with organisations were poor. 4. Possible solutions were highlighted by parents. The report suggested that Minstead Trust could most effectively work with parents by working co-productively.
