Abstract
This article presents an overview of a recent evaluation of the Mid-Wessex Day-Release Course for GP registrars. The article begins by describing the character of the course to familiarise the reader with its structure and organisation. The discussion then sets out the four focal points of the evaluation, followed by an overview of the research methodology and the main findings arising from the data. The article closes with a summary of the curriculum changes identified in the light of the research.
